Zuisho is a kind of Goyomatsu (Japanese five needle pine) started as a single tree just about 80-90 years ago.

The thin & short straight leaves, the speed of growth and its elegant appearance makes this special Goyomatsu stand-out from other existing kinds.

The mother Zuisho tree, which is believed to be a mutation of Goyomatsu have been kept to this day with layering, cutting, and grafting.

The mother tree is unfortunately died and the existing precious trees are no longer than 70 years in age which is very young compared to other famous precious Bonsai trees.

We as Zuisho club members are trying the best to grow, keep and introduce more precious Zuisho Bonsai to the world.
